Join us for a weekend of adrenaline and relaxation in the heart of West Virginia. Spend two nights in a cozy cedar cabin at ACE Adventure Resort, conquer the Gauley River rapids with a full day of whitewater rafting, and unwind with a cookout at the cabins on Saturday night. With a riverside lunch included and stunning scenery all around, this trip has everything you need for an unforgettable adventure.

Welcome to your weekend getaway! Arrive at ACE Adventure Resort’s Welcome Center at 4:00 PM to check in and pick up your keys. Once you’re settled into your cozy cedar cabin, take some time to relax, explore the resort, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of whitewater thrills and mountain memories.

Cabin Details:

• Two queen beds and two sleeper sofas in an open area (4 people per cabin)

•  Kitchenette (microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot)

•  Linens and towels provided

•  Heat/AC

•  Dishes and cutlery are not provided

•  There is no television or wifi

For guests using GPS, please use the following address:  602 E Main St, Oak Hill, WV.  This is the address of the Marathon Gas Station directly across from Minden Road. GPS is often inaccurate when using ACE Adventure Resort as a destination.

From the Marathon Gas Station:

• Turn onto Minden Rd. across from Marathon Gas Station• Follow the ACE sign – You are only 2.9 miles away from the ACE Adventure Resort.
• At approximately 1.3 miles, veer left onto McKinney Rd.
• At 2.1 miles, turn right to stay on Minden Rd. (follow ACE sign – do not go straight onto Rocklick Rd.)
• At 2.9 miles, turn left at the ACE Adventure Center entrance and stop by the Welcome Center to check in.

🚣‍♀️ Lower Gauley River (Class III–V) – Big Rapids to Smooth Water, Rinse & Repeat

A perfect balance of excitement and relaxation with 50 rapids and guaranteed BIG water with an awesome Class V to finish off the ride. Rollercoaster rapids are followed by calmer stretches, where you can take in the stunning scenery. Ideal for both beginners and experienced rafters ages 12 an up looking for an adventurous yet approachable experience.

🌊 Upper Gauley River (Class II–V) – Rock and Roll All the Way to Takeout

Non-stop action from start to finish with 50+ rapids and a 14-foot cascading waterfall. Known for its powerful rapids, technical drops, and heart-pounding pace, this stretch is a bucket-list run for experienced rafters ages 15 and up ready to take on one of the East Coast's most challenging rivers.

Midway through your journey, enjoy a delicious riverside lunch prepared by your guides — refueling you for the second half of your adventure.

After an epic day on the river, kick back and refuel with a cookout at the cabins (menu TBD). Dinner and soft drinks are included.

Want to toast the day’s adventure? BYOB if you’d like to bring your favorite beer, wine, cocktail fixings, or special drink. It’s the perfect way to unwind, share stories from the river, and keep the good vibes going into the night.

After a weekend of adventure, laughter, and great memories, it’s time to say goodbye to ACE Adventure Resort. Check out of your cabin by 10:00 AM, then hit the road feeling refreshed and recharged from your mountain getaway.
